elTioTeo Company

Teodoro Fernandez, the circus as a tool and humor as a means of communication
are the forms of expression of elTioTeo, a tender and provocative clown at the same time.
A sports teacher at first, he began his artistic career by devoting himself to diabolo,
acrobatics and clowning, later deciding to devote himself entirely to the circus and performing arts.

Trained at the CAU circus school in Granada (2010/2012), at the INEF gymnastics school
Granada and during Lido (Toulouse). He founded the Cie elTioTeo in 2013 and tours until
present in Europe with the show "Surfing the Street" performing in the festivals of
circus and street theatre from around the world, winning various awards.

Furthermore, he trained as a clown and actor with Alexandre Cohelo (2010), Christophe Tellier and Fanny Giraud (2014), went to the Nezdames school (2016), Elise Ouvrier (2020), Burlesque Theater with Norbert Abourdarham (2019) and Théâtre d'Objets at the Théâtre de la Cuisine (2024).
In recent years, he has participated in various projects in France and Colombia with ephemeral creations of clown, object theater, dance and performance in collaboration with other companies such as Beblibop, Cap Nomade, Miss Bouillon.

He co-founded the Cie Un Instante with Tamar Rojas and the show La Rencontre, on tour since 2025.

The elTioTeo project was created in 2013 with the cabaret number “Cafe y Cigarro” (Comedy/silent).

In 2017, the show "Surfing the Street" was created in France and has since toured internationally, having participated in festivals across Europe, Asia and Latin America. Thanks to this, I have enriched my artistic journey through various cultures and experiences, which continue to fuel my art and my creative approach.

Actor in the company El Laboriatorio Teatro (Spain 2010/11) and co-founder of the Trampolin del Sur Company (Spain 2010).

The elTioTeo Company has won 3 international awards:
